Ham and Cottage Cheese Rolls

Perfect for any time of the day when hunger strikes! These ham rolls with cottage cheese are a great snack for keeping it healthy while eating light but delicious. They are also a very good option for the kids' lunch. Give them a try.

  • 4 slices turkey deli ham
  • 4 leaves lettuce
  • 1/2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cups red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cups pickles, chopped
  • salt and pepper

  • Drain the whey from the cottage cheese.
  • Mix the cheese with the peppers, pickles, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place a lettuce leaf on top of the slice of ham and trim any excess lettuce.
  • Spread a tablespoon of the cheese mixture on the lettuce leaf.
  • Roll it up.
