Ham Tostadas

  • 16 slices Capistrano® american ham, (thin)
  • 8 corn tostadas
  • 1 1/2 cups beans, cooked
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon salsa, bottle
  • 1 red onion, cut into strips
  • 6 Habanero chiles, slices
  • oregano, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 lime, , the juice
  • salt
  • vegetable oil

  • Fry the beans by mashing them in a little oil until well ground, add the mustard, mayonnaise, and bottle sauce, set aside.
  • Mix the onion with the chilies and season with oregano and salt, add the vinegar and lemon. To serve, spread the tostadas with beans, place Capistrano® American Ham on top, and crown with the onion.
