Hot Broccoli Dip

This hot broccoli dip has a super nice presentation, as it is served inside a rustic bread which makes it look exquisite and tempting. It is easy to prepare and you will love it.

  • 1 artisan bread roll
  • 2 stems celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cups yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cups onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup broccoli, in small florets, cooked
  • 1 1/2 cups Manchego cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 teaspoons dry rosemary
  • 1 pinch hot sauce

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Cut a slice from the top of the bread; remove the center, hollowing out the piece. Cut the bread you removed into bite-sized pieces. Cover the shell with the slice of bread; place it on a baking sheet with the bread pieces. Bake them for 15 min. Let them cool slightly.
  • Meanwhile, cook and stir the celery, bell pepper, and onion in the butter in a medium pot over medium heat until soft. Add the manchego cheese; cook over low heat for 5 min. or until melted, stirring frequently. Add the broccoli, rosemary, and hot sauce; cook for 5 min. until heated through, stirring constantly.
  • Pour the mixture into the bread. Serve it with the toasted bread pieces.
