How to make potato faces

  • 3 cups potato, cooked
  • 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cups cornstarch
  • 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • vegetable oil, for frying

  • Add the potatoes to a bowl and mash with a masher until you have a puree, add the flour, cornstarch, breadcrumbs, and egg and mix until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • Place the dough on a board and wax paper and flatten it with a rolling pin. Sprinkle with a little flour and cut out circles with a cutter. Refrigerate.
  • Remove the excess dough and with the help of a piping bag and a knife, shape the faces.
  • Fry the faces in oil, removing the excess with absorbent paper.
  • Serve and enjoy.
