  • 2 cans canned chickpea, reduced sodium, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoons black pepper, ground
  • 1/4 teaspoons paprika
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro

  • Blend the chickpeas.
  • Mix the lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, black pepper, paprika, parsley, and tahini.
  • Add 1/4 of the chickpea liquid and continue adding tablespoon by tablespoon until the consistency is thick.
