Italian Melted Cheese

What better way to start a meal than with delicious Italian melted cheese, which includes a bit of spinach, sausage, and the spicy kick of chili flakes. Try it, you will love it.

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cups italian sausage
  • 1/2 teaspoons chile flakes
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 1 baguette, sliced

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the onion; cook for 8 to 10 min. or until softened, stirring constantly. Remove from the skillet; set aside.
  • Add the sausage to the skillet; cook for 5 min. or until browned, stirring occasionally. Add the chili flakes; cook for 1 min. Add the spinach. Cook covered for 2 min. Incorporate the cheese. Pour this into a 9-inch pie dish; top with the onion.
  • Bake the mixture for 10 min. Serve it with the bread.
