Italian Mollete

Easy and quick, a mix between a pizza and a mollete!, delicious.

  • 1 baguette, large
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 250 grams Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tomatillos
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 bunch spinach
  • italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Cut the baguette into 4 pieces and then slice them in half lengthwise.
  • Slice the tomato and onion into thin slices. And chop the spinach.
  • Place the bread on a baking tray with a bit of butter or oil, with the cut side facing up, spread the sauce covering most of the inside, except for the edges. Add the cheese, slices of tomato, onion, and chopped spinach.
  • Season with spices to taste. Bake for 10 minutes. If you want the bread to be warm but soft, take it out at 5 or 7 minutes.
