Enjoy these tasty jalapeño poppers filled with a delicious combination of cheeses, covered with bacon and glazed with Smucker's® apricot jam. They will be spicy and crispy, you can't miss them!
Cut the chile lengthwise and remove the seeds and veins. Set aside.
In a pot over medium heat, add water and dissolve the piloncillo. Add the jalapeños and cook for 5 minutes. This will help reduce the spiciness of the jalapeños. Let cool.
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, manchego cheese, American cheese, garlic powder, soy sauce, heavy cream, and Smucker's® apricot jam. Mix until fully integrated.
Fill each jalapeño popper with the cheese and Smucker's® apricot jam filling and cover with bacon slices. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with Smucker's® apricot jam, and bake at 180 °C for 25 minutes.
Serve the jalapeño poppers on a platter and accompany with hot sauce and ranch dressing.
