Jalapeños Stuffed with Cheddar Cheese and Bacon

This is the perfect snack to enjoy during the Super Bowl, nothing like jalapeños stuffed with cheddar cheese wrapped in crispy bacon, the perfect balance between spicy and creamy cheese.

  • 4 cups water, warm
  • 8 Jalapeño chiles
  • 2 leaves bay
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, diced
  • 1 package bacon

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a pot over medium heat, heat the water, add the chiles, bay leaves, and salt, and cook until they are soft.
  • Cut the chiles in half and remove the seeds, fill with cheddar cheese and wrap with strips of bacon.
  • Place the chiles on a baking tray and bake for 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bacon is browned.
