Potato Quesadillas

A different way to have breakfast; you'll surprise your family with these quesadillas made with potato dough and filled with cream cheese, mushrooms, bacon, and ham—they'll be delicious.

  • 1/2 kilos masa harina
  • 1/2 kilos potato, cooked
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • salt
  • 1 tablespoon lard
  • water, enough for kneading
  • 1/4 bacon
  • 8 button mushrooms
  • 1/4 deli ham
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 stick Philadelphia® cream cheese, of 190 grams

  • Knead the maseca with the cooked potato, salt, baking powder, and water, forming balls approximately the size of a golf ball; I got 15.
  • For the filling, fry the rest of the ingredients except for the cream cheese.
  • Make the tortillas in the press and fill them with cheese and the previously fried ingredients.
  • And fry until golden brown with all the filling.
