Cilantro Mousse with Cream Cheese

  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, washed and disinfected
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 1 package Philadelphia® cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • chicken broth, to taste

  • Hydrate the gelatin in half a cup of water. Let it rest for about 3 minutes and dissolve it in a double boiler or in the microwave for 35 to 40 seconds.
  • Blend the cream cheese, cilantro, cream, and powdered broth, and with the motor running, add the dissolved gelatin.
  • The taste is adjusted, and if necessary, a little more broth is added and blended again to incorporate everything.
  • In individual containers (flan molds) previously greased with PAM, pour in the mixture.
  • Refrigerate for at least 45 minutes until it sets perfectly.
  • Unmold onto individual plates and serve.
