Creamy Tuna Mousse

  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 350 grams cream cheese
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin powder
  • 100 grams mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/2 cups water
  • salt, to taste
  • chipotle chiles, to taste
  • saltine crackers
  • pepper, to taste

  • Soak the gelatin in half a cup of water. Once it has bloomed, dissolve it in a double boiler, or for 40 seconds in the microwave. Set aside.
  • Blend the tuna with mayonnaise, cream cheese, lemon juice, chipotle, and the dissolved gelatin. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour into one or more molds and refrigerate until set, between 2 and 3 hours.
