Olive, Cheese, and Rosemary Tree

This fabulous appetizer will win over your guests with its wonderful presentation and delicious flavor that will surprise anyone. A rich, creamy interior of cream cheese with chives and bacon decorated with a mix of olives.

  • 1 package bacon, 200g
  • 4 sticks Great Value® cream cheese, 227g each
  • 1 bunch chives, finely chopped
  • 2 cups green olives
  • 2 cups black olives
  • 10 sprigs rosemary
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Great Value® plain salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 package saltine crackers, for serving

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat; brown the bacon, let it cool and chop.
  • In a blender, blend the cheese until creamy, add the bacon, chives, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the cheese into plastic wrap and roll it up to form a cone, freeze for 1 hour or until firm.
  • Cut the peppers into star shapes using a cookie cutter.
  • Take the cheese out of the freezer and use a spatula to smooth the surface.
  • Place the olives around the cheese cone, alternating with rosemary and pepper stars.
  • Let cool for 30 minutes, and serve with crackers. Buy HERE
