Queso Manchego with Blueberry Jam and Puff Pastry

Treat your guests to this delicious appetizer this Christmas, with a delightful and easy jam to top a crunchy and creamy cheese; it's simple to prepare and will surely impress them.

  • 2 cups dried cranberries, chopped
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 1 Lala® manchego cheese, 400 g
  • 250 grams puff pastry
  • 1 egg

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • For the jam, in a saucepan over low heat, add all the ingredients and cook until it thickens and has the consistency of jam. Let it cool and set aside.
  • Roll out the puff pastry with a rolling pin to a thickness of 3mm, place the Queso Manchego LALA® covering it completely, brush with egg, and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Cut a piece of cheese and serve with the blueberry jam.
