Quick Cheese Fingers

This cheese fingers recipe is ideal for little ones; the breaded cheese has some Italian spices that give it an original flavor, give it a try.

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tablespoons oregano
  • 1/2 tablespoons basil
  • 1/2 tablespoons garlic salt
  • 2/3 cups flour
  • 2 cups vegetable oil, for frying
  • 300 grams Manchego cheese
  • 1/3 cups cornstarch

  • In a deep bowl, mix the eggs and water.
  • In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, garlic salt, basil, and oregano.
  • In a third deep bowl, mix the flour and cornstarch.
  • Heat the oil in a large skillet until ready for frying.
  • Cut the Manchego cheese into rectangles (the fingers) and dip each one in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Fry each finger until golden (approximately 45 seconds) and drain well on a paper towel to remove excess grease.
