Red Chickpea Dip

A delicious dip made with chickpeas and spices that give it a red color. It is also known as Red Hummus.

  • 800 grams chickpeas, canned
  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon cumin powder
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1/4 cups water

  • In a blender, mix all the ingredients except for the parsley.
  • Pour the dip onto a plate and decorate with parsley. Serve with pita bread or toast.
