Delicious Cuban Sandwich

Tortas are a very popular food in Mexico City, and they are also a very complete and versatile food. You can combine them with your preferred ingredients; this sandwich is undoubtedly full of flavor.

  • 4 telera rolls
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 beef cutlet
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 chorizo
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 sausages, Cut into 4 lengthwise
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 slices deli ham
  • 1 cup Oaxaca cheese, shredded
  • 1 avocado, in slices
  • 1 tomato, in slices
  • 1 onion
  • pickled chiles

  • Cut the teleras in half.
  • Spread refried beans on one side of the telera and mayonnaise on the other side, set aside.
  • In a medium skillet, heat the oil and fry the beef milanesa. Set aside.
  • In another medium skillet, add oil, fry the chorizo, and add the egg, cook for 3 minutes.
  • In a medium skillet, heat the oil, fry the sausages, remove, and set aside.
  • In a medium skillet, add oil, place a slice of ham, add Oaxaca cheese, cover with another slice of ham, and fry for 2 minutes on one side, then flip.
  • Place the milanesa on the bread, add the egg with chorizo, add the sausages, ham, and cheese, top with slices of tomato, onion, avocado, and pickled peppers, cover.
  • Cut in half, serve, and enjoy.
