Crab Sandwich with Caper Dressing

Delicious and original crab sandwich seasoned with garlic, parmesan, fine herbs, butter, and a citrus touch of lemon. Served on rich Oroweat® 12 grain bread, spread with a delicious caper mayonnaise. Don't forget to accompany the sandwich with fresh slices of cucumber.

  • 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cups capers, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
  • 1 pinch ground pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fine herbs
  • 2 cups crab meat
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 12 slices Oroweat® 12 grain bread
  • 1 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 cup red cabbage
  • cherry tomato, for decoration
  • olives, for decoration
  • pickles, for decoration

  • For the dressing, in a bowl mix the mayonnaise with the capers, onion, and yellow lemon juice. Add a bit of pepper to taste. Set aside.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, add the butter, garlic, crab meat, add the fine herbs, and cook for 5 minutes, add the parmesan cheese to melt, season to taste, and set aside.
  • Heat a grill pan and toast the Oroweat® 12 Grain bread until classic grill marks appear. Remove the bread from the grill, spread a bit of caper dressing, fill with the crab mixture. Serve with cucumber, cabbage, tomato, olives, and pickles.
