Creamy BBQ Chicken Sandwich

Prepare this amazing creamy BBQ chicken sandwich, made with this classic sauce in a homemade way but with the unique touch that only Hellmann’s® Homemade Recipe Mayonnaise can give. You won’t believe the intense flavor it gives to the chicken, plus it’s accompanied by purple cabbage, carrot, and a bit of lettuce. You will love it!

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoons granulated chicken bouillon
  • 1 tablespoon raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 1 tablespoon Hellmann’s® homestyle mayonnaise 
  • 1/4 cups white cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cups red cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Knorr® granulated chicken bouillon
  • 2 burger buns

  • For the BBQ, in a skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and cook the onion and garlic, season with Knorr® Swiss Chicken Broth and pepper.
  • Add the sugar and let it caramelize, then add the paprika, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and cook until it thickens. Add the chicken and Hellmann’s® Homemade Recipe Mayonnaise, cook for one more minute and remove from heat.
  • For the salad, in a bowl mix purple cabbage with white cabbage, carrot, Hellmann’s® Homemade Recipe Mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, lemon juice, and sugar, season with a bit of Knorr® Swiss Chicken Broth.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by adding some chicken on the hamburger buns, add some coleslaw, and close. Enjoy.
