FAGE Lobster and Watercress Sandwich

A different and original way to make a sandwich, this FAGE lobster and watercress sandwich recipe is a gourmet way to enjoy a sandwich while having a unique flavor.

  • 1/4 cups red wine vinegar
  • 1 pinch saffron
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 cup FAGE® Total 0% greek style yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, mashed
  • 1/2 cups celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 red onions, finely chopped
  • salt, and pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds lobster, (meat) minced
  • fresh chives, finely chopped (optional)
  • parsley, chopped
  • tomatillos, in thin slices
  • watercress
  • 6 slices white bread
  • unsalted butter

  • In a skillet, bring the vinegar to a boil, add the saffron, remove from heat, and let sit for 10 minutes.
  • Mix FAGE® Total 0% Greek Yogurt, vinegar, garlic, and honey in a large bowl and season with salt and pepper. Add celery, onion, and lobster, and mix gently.
  • Add parsley (and scallions, if desired) and season with salt and pepper.
  • Alternate slices of bread with lettuce, tomato, and lobster salad, adding butter between the pieces of bread as desired.
