Smoked Turkey Ham Panini

If you are tired of always taking simple ham sandwiches to school or work, try this much more delicious option that is equally practical to start the day with a positive attitude.

  • bolillo rolls, or some type of baguette; that be chard bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 slices smoked turkey ham
  • 2 slices Manchego cheese
  • 1 leaf lettuce
  • 3 sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 slices avocado

  • Slice the bread.
  • In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add the oregano to the butter and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Place the bread in the butter with oregano and heat on both sides.
  • Outside the pan, add to one side of the bread the ham, cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, avocado, and lettuce, and close it with the other half of the bread.
  • Return the assembled panini to the pan and brown over low heat for 1.5 minutes on each side.
  • Wrap in aluminum foil to keep it warm and enjoy.
