Portobello Sandwich with Cheese and Beer Dressing

  • 190 grams cream cheese
  • 2 cups Manchego cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil
  • 2 portobello mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 bag Oroweat® multigrain bread
  • 1 red sangria lettuce
  • 2 avocados, sliced
  • 1 green apple, sliced
  • 1 cup wheat sprouts

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Place the portobellos on a tray, add olive oil, salt, and pepper, and roast for 10 minutes.
  • In a pot, heat the beer over low heat, add the cream cheese, manchego cheese, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3 minutes until thickened. Let cool and set aside.
  • On a Oroweat Multigrain® bread, spread a bit of cheese and beer dressing, place a lettuce leaf, the portobellos, green apple, avocado, and wheat germ.
