Whole Wheat Sandwich Rolls
Lizzette Landaverde
Bite-sized version of my mom's classic sandwich roll, made with whole wheat bread, turkey ham, and yellow cheese. Super easy to make, just like the original version.

Cut the edges of the bread.
Spread mayonnaise on one side of the bread.
On a sushi mat, place 4 slices of bread together, spreading mayonnaise on the edges to help them stick.
Place the slices of ham and cheese, making sure to leave at least 2 cm on one edge of the bread.
Add small pieces of jalapeño pepper to taste.
Take the edge of the mat and start rolling, making sure to tighten the bread.
Continue with the rest of the bread until finished.
Cut the rolls into small pieces and place them on a large plate.
