Serrano Ham Crostini with Fig Jam

You just need to spread the soft and creamy La Vaca que Ríe® cheese with a salty touch of serrano ham, accompanied by a fresh and sweet fig, topped with fig honey and a touch of arugula.

  • 1 cup fig, ripe, cut into quarters
  • 1/2 cups raw sugar
  • 1 pinch ground cardamom
  • 1 morita chile, chopped
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 10 pieces of bread, toasted for crostini
  • 1 package The Laughing Cow® cheese, 171 g
  • 10 sheets serrano ham
  • 1 cup fig, cut into quarters
  • 1 cup arugula

  • Heat a small pot and add the figs, sugar, cardamom, morita chili, and water; cook the jam until it reaches a thick and uniform consistency. Cool and set aside.
  • Spread the soft and creamy La Vaca que Ríe® cheese on the bread crostini, serve the serrano ham on each crostini.
  • Place a fig, cover with the jam, and garnish with arugula.
