Skirt Steak Sandwich with Guacamole

This amazing sandwich of tender grilled skirt steak accompanied by guacamole and cilantro with mozzarella cheese, alfalfa sprouts, fresh arugula, and tomato will be perfect for you to prepare for lunch.

  • 1 avocado
  • 1/4 cups red onion
  • 1/4 cups tomato
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups bacon, fried and finely chopped
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 2 cups skirt steak, cut into strips
  • 4 slices Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 slices Oroweat® 12 grain bread
  • 1/4 cups refried beans
  • 1 cup alfalfa sprouts
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1 tomato, sliced

  • For the guacamole, add avocado to a bowl and mash until you achieve a puree consistency. Add red onion, tomato, yellow lemon, cilantro, bacon, and season to taste. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
  • Spread Oroweat® 12-grain bread with beans, add a slice of cheese, and heat on the grill. Set aside.
  • Heat a grill pan over medium heat and add the skirt steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook. Set aside.
  • Assemble the sandwiches by placing skirt steak on the bread, followed by alfalfa sprouts, tomato, arugula, and avocado dressing.
