Healthy Chicken Sandwiches and Snacks

A healthy and delicious snack, it doesn’t use cream or mayonnaise as the base of the sandwich, but rather avocado, which gives it a delicious and fresh flavor. You can cut them in half or into quarters to make small snacks that will be useful on any occasion.

  • 10 slices wholemeal bread
  • 1 avocado, large
  • 1/2 limes, its juice
  • salt
  • chicken breasts, boiled with salt, garlic, and onion; shredded

  • Mash the avocado with the salt and lime juice until it has a consistency similar to guacamole.
  • On each slice of bread, spread the avocado mixture, add some chicken to 5 slices of bread, and top with a tablespoon of ricotta. Cover these slices with the other 5 that had the avocado.
  • Put them on the grill or on a skillet to toast them a bit until they are golden.
  • Cut them in half or into quarters and place them on a large plate or a small tray.
