Tortas Pipos in Pita Bread

  • 4 pita breads, or Arabic
  • 1 kilo beefsteak, well chopped
  • vegetable oil, as needed
  • 1 tomatillo, finely chopped
  • salt, to taste
  • 2 limes, cut in half
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup parsley, finely chopped
  • pepper, to taste

  • Heat a bit of oil in a skillet and add the meat to fry, adding salt and pepper, and wait for the juices to reduce and the meat to be cooked, then remove from heat.
  • Open the pita breads in half, in another skillet heat a bit of oil and toast the pita bread on both sides until slightly crispy.
  • Place 1 pita bread on each plate and fill it with the meat, adding chopped tomato, onion, and parsley, and put half a lemon on each plate.
