Cut the sausages into three equal parts. Set aside.
Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut small squares to cover the sausages.
Put a bit of egg on the edges of the puff pastry and cover the sausages with it; the egg will help keep the pastry from coming off.
Once you have the sausages covered with the puff pastry, brush them with the remaining beaten egg.
Place the sausages on a non-stick baking tray. Bake in the oven at 180 ºC for 20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown. Remove and let the sausages cool.
Once they are cool, insert the skewer stick into the center of the sausages.
