Try these sausage banderillas; it's an easy recipe and they turn out like the ones from the street. They are perfect for snacking or for giving to children; they are so fun that they will love eating them.
Whisk the milk with the eggs. Add the flours (reserve a little wheat flour), the cornstarch, and the baking powder. While continuing to whisk, until achieving a homogenous mixture, refrigerate it for 15 minutes.
Insert the sausage and cheese pieces into each stick without reaching the tip. Dip each banderilla in the reserved flour and then into the batter, letting them drain a little.
Fry them in hot oil at 180 ºC. Once they have an even golden color, drain them and place on absorbent paper to remove excess grease.
