Sausages with Jalapeño and Habanero

Prepare these sausages with jalapeño and habanero for those unexpected gatherings, as it is an easy and practical recipe that will take you no more than 15 minutes to prepare. The cocktail sausages are seasoned with Salsa Huichol® Habanera, which, due to its ingredients, flavor, and quality, can be used in different types of food, both as a condiment or to give a special touch while cooking.

  • 1 cup chistorra, sliced
  • 1/4 cups onion, cut into half moons
  • 1 cup pineapple, diced
  • 2 cups shaker sausage
  • 1/2 cups Huichol® Habanera Sauce, 190 ml
  • 1/4 cups lager beer
  • 2 Jalapeño chiles, pickled and sliced
  • salt with celery
  • cilantro, finely chopped, for garnish
  • tortilla chips, colored, for presentation

  • Cook the chistorra for 5 minutes in a skillet over medium heat, or until golden brown and it starts to release its fat, then add the onion, pineapple, the sausages, and cook everything for 3 more minutes.
  • Add Salsa Huichol® Habanera and the light beer, cook for 5 minutes until the alcohol evaporates, then add the jalapeños and season with celery salt, and then add the cilantro. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Serve the cocktail sausages in a deep plate, accompanied by colored tortilla chips. Enjoy!
