Caprese Snack

The caprese snack is super easy to prepare and is perfect for an afternoon of snacks when you don’t want to spend much time in the kitchen.

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 200 grams Mozzarella cheese
  • basil
  • 20 cherry tomatoes

  • Slice the mozzarella cheese into pieces the size of a cherry tomato.
  • Mix the garlic, lemon, oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Add the mozzarella and let it marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle the chopped basil over the cheese.
  • Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and thread onto a skewer first 1/2 tomato, then a piece of mozzarella cheese, and finally the other tomato.
  • Serve at room temperature. You can drizzle some balsamic dressing for dipping.
