Homemade popcorn

  • 250 grams corn, popcorn-kernel
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons corn oil
  • salt, to taste

  • Heat two tablespoons of vegetable oil in a deep pot.
  • Once hot, add 1 cup of popcorn kernels, one tablespoon of butter, and one teaspoon of salt.
  • Shake the pot by the handle to distribute the heat so that all the kernels pop without burning.
  • Remove once all the kernels have popped and pour onto a plate with paper towels.
  • Taste and adjust the salt as needed.
