Stuffed Grape Leaves with Goat Cheese

A Greek delight, these grape leaves are stuffed with goat cheese and spices.

  • 12 fig leaf
  • 1 tablespoon thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lavender, chopped
  • 180 grams goat cheese, white
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • measurements salt, to taste

  • Place a pot of water to boil. Add the grape leaves and boil for 30 seconds. Remove from the water and rinse. Repeat once more and dry the leaves.
  • Place a leaf on a cutting board with the veins facing up.
  • In a deep bowl, mix the goat cheese with the spices.
  • Place 1/12 of the cheese in the center of a leaf and season lightly with salt. Drizzle each round with 1/2 teaspoon of oil and wrap in the leaves. Brush the rolls with a little oil.
  • Heat a grill or skillet over high heat and cook the grape leaves for 2 minutes on each side.
