Tomato, Avocado, and Basil Baguette

The baguette is one of the most famous breads in French cuisine, here we present a delicious sandwich, with all the European influence. It is a sandwich accompanied by a delicious strawberry and chia smoothie, the perfect combination.

  • 3 Roma tomatoes
  • 2 avocados
  • 1/2 bunches basil
  • 1 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 30 milliliters olive oil
  • 1 liter cow's milk, lactose-free Light Santa Clara®
  • 200 grams strawberries, sanitized
  • 30 grams chia seeds
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 5 milliliters vanilla essence
  • 1 baguette

  • Cut the tomato into 2-centimeter thick slices, season with salt and pepper.
  • Slice the avocado into thin slices.
  • Cut the baguette in half, add the tomato, avocado, and basil leaves. Drizzle with olive oil. Place the other half on top and serve.
  • For the smoothie: Place the strawberries in a blender (without the stems), add sugar, vanilla, and milk. Blend well, pour into a tall glass, and sprinkle with chia. Garnish with a strawberry cut in half.
