  • 250 grams puff pastry
  • flour
  • 1 cup cherry tomato
  • egg, for brushing
  • 1 cup almonds, for the pesto
  • 1/3 cups basil, in leaves, for the pesto
  • 1/4 cups Parmesan cheese, for the pesto
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil, for the pesto
  • 1 clove garlic, for the pesto
  • salt, for the pesto
  • pepper, for the pesto

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Roll out the puff pastry to 5 mm thick, cut strips 15 cm long and join the ends to form an oval. Place a cherry tomato at each end.
  • Arrange 3 ovals parallel to each other with the tomatoes and join them in the center with your fingers to form the flower.
  • Place the flowers on a previously greased and floured baking sheet, brush with egg, and bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
  • For the pesto, process all the ingredients in a food processor until a sauce is obtained.
  • Serve the flowers accompanied by pesto.
