Preheat the oven to 200°C. Roll out the puff pastry to 5 mm thick, cut strips 15 cm long and join the ends to form an oval. Place a cherry tomato at each end. Arrange 3 ovals parallel to each other with the tomatoes and join them in the center with your fingers to form the flower. Place the flowers on a previously greased and floured baking sheet, brush with egg, and bake for 15 minutes or until golden. For the pesto, process all the ingredients in a food processor until a sauce is obtained. Serve the flowers accompanied by pesto.
