Turkey Ham Croquettes

Delicious turkey ham croquettes that kids love.

  • 1/2 sticks butter
  • 400 grams turkey deli ham, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • vegetable oil
  • 1/2 white onions

  • Chop the onion very finely and sauté in butter until translucent.
  • Add the flour and mix until it forms a paste.
  • Add the milk and allow the mixture to thicken.
  • Remove from heat, add the turkey, salt, and pepper, and mix well. Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.
  • Place the 2 beaten eggs on one plate, the breadcrumbs on another plate, and the flour on another plate.
  • With a spoon, take a portion of the ham mixture and shape it into a croquette with your hands. Roll the croquette in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs, and place on a tray. Repeat with the entire mixture.
  • Heat vegetable oil to fry the croquettes. Fry the croquettes until golden brown. Place them on a plate with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
