Acapulco Clams with Lime

This is a delicious recipe for preparing the pink clams from Acapulco.

  • 12 pink clam, large
  • 3 tablespoons onion
  • 3 tablespoons parsley
  • 1 serrano chile, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Maggi seasoning sauce
  • 1/4 cups lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon red hot sauce

  • Carefully remove the clams from their shells. Reserve the shells and arrange them on a platter. Chop the clams and place them in a glass bowl.
  • Add salt and pepper to the clams. Drizzle with olive oil, lime, chili, hot sauce, onion, and Maggi seasoning. Stir and taste.
  • Distribute this mixture into the shells along with the juice. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
