Almond-Crusted Fish

With this recipe, you can prepare a delicious almond fish, you'll be the star this Lent.

  • 1 kilo fish, red snapper or catfish, sliced

  • The fish is washed well with a little lemon juice to remove any bad odor. The almonds are soaked in hot water, cleaned, and chopped. The raisins are washed.
  • Butter is spread in the saucepan. A layer of fish is placed, then finely sprinkled bread is added, followed by a layer of almonds, then a layer of raisins, and finally a layer of pickled chilies with all their vinegar. A pinch of mixed herbs is added. The process is repeated until all the ingredients are used.
