Banana and Tuna Patties

These are patties made with tuna and banana that your family and friends will love, very easy to make.

  • 1 plantain
  • 600 grams smoked tuna
  • 2 tablespoons peppermint, chopped
  • salt, and ground pepper (to taste)
  • 1 cup panko, or breadcrumbs
  • vegetable oil, (as needed)
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon peppermint, chopped
  • 3 sprigs watercress, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • Cook the banana in a pot of water until soft.
  • In a bowl, mash the banana with a fork and mix it with the tuna, cilantro, egg, mint, salt, and pepper.
  • Form patties and bread them with panko, then fry in a pan with hot oil.
  • To accompany, mix the bell pepper with the herbs, oil, and pepper.
