Beer-Battered Fish Tacos

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cups beer

  • 10 fish fillets, sierra
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 10 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup lettuce, filleted for serving

  • mayonnaise

  • In a bowl, add the flour, egg, salt, baking powder, beer, and pepper, and whisk until completely combined.
  • Dust the fish fillets with flour and dip them into the mixture you prepared earlier.
  • In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat, immerse the fish fillets in the mixture, and fry for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  • Place the fish fillets on a tortilla and add lettuce, avocado, mayonnaise, and serve with sauce and lemon.
