Breaded Trout with Mustards and Herbs

A healthy recipe to cook trout (or any other fish) with a light coating flavored with mustard and tarragon.

  • 2 slices multigrain bread
  • 2 trout fillets
  • spray oil, pam
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoons dried tarragon
  • 1/4 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 limes, sliced

  • Preheat the oven to 450F or 230 degrees Celsius.
  • Put the slices of bread in the food processor. Pulse until it resembles breadcrumbs.
  • Spray cooking spray in a skillet and then place the trout fillets skin side down.
  • Mix the mustard and tarragon and spread it over the fish. Sprinkle it with the breadcrumbs and paprika. Put a little PAM on top.
  • Place it on a baking sheet and put it in the oven for 10 minutes.
  • Serve it with lemon slices.
