Ceviche with Beer

Try this refreshing ceviche with beer, which is made with fish, shrimp, octopus, seasoned tomato juice, lime, serrano pepper, and a mix of beer that will make all the ingredients blend together, creating the best combination for these hot days.

  • 1/4 cups onion
  • 2 serrano chiles
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 1 cup tomato clam juice

  • 1 cup lager beer
  • 2 cups fish, in medium cubes
  • 1 cup pink shrimp, in medium cubes
  • 1 cup octopus, precooked, in medium cubes
  • 1 cup red onion, in thin strips
  • 2 cups cucumber, without skin, in medium cubes
  • 6 light beer cans
  • cucumber, sliced, for decoration
  • hot sauce, for decoration
  • lemon, sliced, for decoration

  • Blend the onion, serrano pepper, lime juice, seasoned tomato juice, salt, and pepper for 5 minutes or until everything is well integrated. Reserve.
  • Pour the blended mixture into a bowl, then add the beer, fish, shrimp, octopus, red onion, and cucumber. Mix very well with the help of a wooden spoon. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Place the beer cans in a baking dish and add a layer of cucumber around. Then, add the ceviche on top, drizzle with a little hot sauce, and decorate with lime slices. Serve the ceviche with beer on the same platter and enjoy.
