Chipotle Shrimp

Delicious chipotle shrimp recipe. They have a touch of tequila to make them a bit more Mexican, and remember that you can adjust the amount of chipotle to make them a little less spicy.

  • 800 grams shrimp
  • 100 grams butter
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 200 grams button mushrooms
  • 180 grams Tequila
  • 180 grams tomato purée
  • 150 grams chipotle chile

  • Sauté the onion.
  • Add the garlic and chopped chipotle.
  • Add the tomato puree, Maggi sauce, and season with salt.
  • Add the tequila and a little water.
  • While the sauce is cooking, clean the shrimp, removing their shells and making a crosswise cut on the back of each one.
  • In a skillet, sauté the shrimp in butter.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms and coat them with the sauce.
  • Serve over a bed of white rice.
