900 grams cod, desalting
3 cloves garlic
1 onion
2 cups potato, cooked and diced
150 milliliters extra virgin olive oil
200 grams bell pepper, a can in strips
2 cups tomato purée
1/2 cups capers
1 cup olives
güero chile
basil
parsley

Shred the cod. Set aside.
Finely chop the onion and garlic, then cook them with a little oil until they are translucent.
Add the parsley, basil, and mix for a few minutes.
Pour in the tomato purée, the chiles, capers, and olives to taste.
Add the potatoes and the cod. Mix thoroughly, lower the heat, and let it simmer for about ten minutes.
Season to taste.
