Clams a la Marinera

Delicious and easy recipe for clams a la marinera, a dish you will love; you just have to be careful to choose the clams well and wash them thoroughly.

  • 1 kilo clams
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 glass white wine
  • extra virgin olive oils
  • parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup tomato purée

  • Place the clams under running water to remove all the dirt and sand they may have.
  • Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves. Sauté in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil.
  • When it is about to sauté, add the flour and mix well until completely dissolved.
  • Add the clams, white wine, and tomato puree, and keep on the heat until the clams open.
  • Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
