1 kilo clams
1 onion
4 tablespoons parsley
4 tablespoons olive oil
pepper, to taste
2 teaspoons garlic

Chop the onion and parsley.
Wash the clams very well and make sure there is no sand, arrange them in a deep saucepan.
Pour 2 cups of cold water and add the onion and garlic powder. Add the parsley, olive oil and pepper.
Place the saucepan on the fire, cover and let simmer over low heat. Serve hot.
