  • 1 kilo clams
  • 1 onion
  • 4 tablespoons parsley
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • pepper, to taste
  • 2 teaspoons garlic

  • Chop the onion and parsley.
  • Wash the clams very well and make sure there is no sand, arrange them in a deep saucepan.
  • Pour 2 cups of cold water and add the onion and garlic powder. Add the parsley, olive oil and pepper.
  • Place the saucepan on the fire, cover and let simmer over low heat. Serve hot.
