Crab Stuffed Eggs with Spices

This rich recipe consists of a canned crab filling (or you can use tuna) with mayonnaise and spices inside boiled eggs.

  • 8 eggs, hard peeled
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 tablespoons piquín chile
  • 1/4 tablespoons hot sauce, tabasco type
  • 250 grams canned crab meat, crumbled

  • Cut the 8 eggs in half and scoop out the yolks. In a container save half of the yolks (4 eggs).
  • In a bowl mix the mayonnaise, the chopped onion, the lemon juice, the chili pepper and the hot sauce. Add the crab and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the egg yolks and mix well with the crab.
  • Fill the hard-boiled egg whites with the crab filling and place on a serving plate. You can refrigerate up to 3-4 hours before serving.
