Surimi Salad Wonton

Prepare these crunchy wontons filled with rich and creamy surimi salad with celery, green onion, apple chili, sour cream, and parsley. Best of all, when you bite into them, you'll discover a touch of cream cheese that makes all the difference.

  • 6 surimi, finely chopped
  • 4 stems celery, finely chopped
  • 4 manzano chiles, finely chopped and deveined
  • 1/8 red onions, finely chopped
  • 1 cucumber, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Great Value® plain salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons white pepper
  • 227 grams Great Value® cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chives, finely chopped
  • 1 package wonton wrapper, 250 g
  • 1 cup Great Value® Pure Canola Oil
  • 1 cup alfalfa sprouts, for garnish
  • 1 carrot, in strips for garnish

  • In a bowl, combine the surimi with the celery, chili, onion, cucumber, parsley, cream, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.
  • In another bowl, mix the cream cheese with the chopped green onion.
  • Assemble the wontons by placing a bit of cheese at the base and then a tablespoon of the surimi salad. Close them in a star shape, sealing the edges with water.
  • Heat the oil in a small pot over medium heat and fry the wontons until golden brown, being careful not to burn them. Drain on paper towels.
  • Serve the wontons and accompany with a bit of sprouts and carrot. Buy HERE
