4 fish fillets, (of your choice snapper, sole, etc.)
6 limes, (its juice)
1 bell pepper, of each color into not-too-thin slices
onions, into slices
fresh cilantro, clean sprigs
salt, garlic powder and ground pepper to taste

Clean or check that your fillets are clean. Place them in a container and add salt, garlic, and pepper. Drizzle them with lemon juice and let them sit while you slice the other ingredients.
Clean and slice the peppers into rings as well as the onion, wash and separate sprigs of cilantro.
Cut the fillets in half as if to make sandwiches with them.
On one half of the fillet, place slices of peppers, onion, and cilantro on top of the other half of the fillet as if it were a sandwich.
Wrap them in aluminum foil.
Cook them in a non-stick pot over medium-low heat for 10 minutes on each side and then 5 minutes on each (30 minutes of total cooking).
Unwrap and serve.
